To say I've been in possession of keys for a month tomorrow, I don't think I've done badly. Roofers arrive first thing in the morning.
Finally, a minor win, but finally got the remaining patches of wallpaper off in the Bathroom.
which, for no obvious reason, I decided to try & construct in the smallest room in the house with no light. Anger was rife, grrr.
instead of regularly tripping over the new portion of stud wall, I can assemble it to infill.
Not sure this will come across but now this portion of stud wall in what was the back of the Bathroom cupboard has been fully removed.
Then spent Sunday finding lots of drill-based activities to do, such as fitting bolts to the front door.instead of screwing it shut with a piece of wood & putting the cooker in front of it every night! You see the benefit of course.
Bought me a drill!
My favourite picture of the weekend, the week & possibly of all time. Styling it out in my rigger boots, Mon clears the detritus from my hedge massacre.
Makes a ridiculous amount of difference to the garden; it's almost a third bigger in width trimmed right back.
Whilst the 'lads' went to the tip, I was left wielding the hedge strimmer.
It's not glamorous but primarily Saturday was about shifting stuff that I couldn't do myself. So, a couple of trips to the tip with cars full of rubble & moving the only 2 pieces of furniture that I couldn't do myself ensued.
But it's back to brickwork whether I like it or not.
Rip is a pretty violent descriptive for the event, you breath heavy in there & there's an avalanche of rubble
