25.) As a final bonus to an unexpected but awesome week, the random steel bracket which has had a piece of everyone's head at some point & received a well deserved tirade of abuse for it, is to be found lying on the Kitchen floor. Whoo hoo! You got what you deserved.

23.) My new favourite contractor Andy Plasterer also took away around 10 bags of rubble plus all the stone he took out of the pier in the Kitchen. So I now have room to fill the empty space with wallpaper bits...again!

21.) Been looking forward to this, it's my favourite room in the house. It's great to strip it down but a bit nerve-wracking in case it all falls apart as per everywhere else!

19.) Along with finishing the area under the Dining Room window from when the damp proofing was done, this room is prep'd for when I do actually decorate in here.

15.) But the Kitchen is not 'finished'; it seems, having received a slightly sketchy text about a 'bit of chiselling out' so I could fit in a wine rack (essential kit ;) ) the plasterer has taken it on himself to actually 'chisel' out the entire pier in the corner!! Example: after...&...
