Made my own blending line for my reception class today... They were very intrigued and hopefully it will encourage them to think about the sounds that make up words :)
Phonics board linked to RWI. Children look at the picture say the word then use the letters to help sound out the word. I start this with just asking for the initial sound of a word (the other letters are already there) then build up to initial and end, then finally the whole word.
