I would change the start of this from "Autism causes . " to "Autism can cause . Whilst it can cause all of these things, it doesn't always cause them all in every family.

This is so true for any parent of an autistic child. Mason has made excellent progress but there are so many people that have no idea what autism truly is every child is different but they are also truly amazing. I would not trade my Mason for the world.

How often doesn't people claim that I can't have asperger because I don't look autistic or because I seem so smart or nice? (As if people with aspergers aren't nice, smart or have the same appearence as "normal" people)
