We are often commissioned to supply roof trusses of different types for various architects and builders. They add a great feature to a new build or renovation project. Using traditional methods and techniques often working in Oak or Douglas Fir, we can create some stunning architectural finishing pieces for our clients projects. Trusses such as these can be prefabricated and then transported, assembled or craned into place.

Hector and Cedric was commissioned to design, build and install a Douglas Fir Timber frame for a passive house self build in Derby. The frame was raised in quite a restricted area, with the use of a spider crane that only just fitted through the narrow passageway. We went on to construct the floors and roof structure, leaving the building to be completed with straw-bale infill walls and a living green roof.
