This photo has geometric lines with many stripes being present in the image. The buildings in the background along with the sidewalk have black and white stripes which give the image many straight, geometric lines.

Big Ben and houses of parliament  Depth of Field being used creatively - I feel this gives a much better effect than having shot the image with a smaller aperture which would give a bigger focus in the image (so Big Ben in the background would have been in focus too).

This photo of a light was created using a shallow depth of field. This captures the focus, which is the light, well as the rest of London is blurred in the background.
