1960s Gold Circle Chain Belt
This belt is made of gold coloured metal rings linked together with flat connectors. Closes with a hook that is inserted into the connectors. It looks heavy but is actually quite light. Width - 1 1/4 inches Length - 36 inches end to end Will fit waists to 33" as I feel at least 3 links should hang down from the join. No stamps or markings. Good Condition. Some wear where the gold has rubbed off and silver metal shows, but does not detract from the overall look. Price reflects this…

Telephone style 1960. Almost every street had a phone box within a short walk. No home phones of mobiles back then. The 'phone call' was reserved for important discussions that could not wait for a letter to arrive or to call the emergency services. The idea that we would all use telecommunications as we do now, was so totally absurd back then.
