WATER BAPTISM SHOULD BE PERFORMED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. The apostles understood the instruction of Jesus to baptize in the “NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” when they in turn only ever baptized in Jesus’ Name. Memorize these verses and know that Jesus is the only saving Name: Acts 2:38-39, Acts 4:12 Additional reading: Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:12, 14-16; Acts 10:47-48; Acts 19:1-5; Acts 22:16; Romans 6:3-4; Galatians 3:27.

Scripture Origin- Holy Spirit is present in the Apostles. Pentecost is a prevalent example of the Holy Spirit and how it benefits our lives.

"He said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" And they said to him, "No, we have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit." Acts 19:2

So what did they receive when Jesus blew on them Resurrection Sunday, and how is that receiving of the Holy Spirit different than what they were told to wait for? God’s Word shows us that there are two distinct receivings of the Holy Spirit, each for…

I really liked this Bible study except one thing. I didn't agree with is that we are the Bride of Christ. I believe we are the sons of God. I see the Bride as the Jews that will be saved (and added) after the rapture of the church.

beautiful is the woman who is defined by her acts of loving kindness and a generous heart

She is defined by her acts. You can lie to everyone outwardly but inside you know what you are and what you do or did. Be the beauty that needs to be seen in the world, and inside your most darkest places.
