Incredible photos by the man who invented the fashion shoot

Japanese photographer Shinichi Maruyama has an interesting series of photos simply titled, “Nude.” Each image shows an abstract flesh-colored shape that’s created by a nude subject dancing in front of the camera.    Although the photographs look like long-exposure shots, they’re actually composite images created by combining ten thousand individual photographs of each dancer. The result is a look in which each model’s body is (mostly) lost within the blur of its movement.

I always found the subway motion pictures interesting. And with this one, the train and the subject is moving.

MOTION BLUR - I always found the subway motion pictures interesting. And with this one, the train and the subject is moving.

The texture in this image is really interesting as the icicles against the metal are really intriguing. The background being blurred creates a more up close and personal feel to the photo as it looks like you're invading its space by getting so close to the chain.

"Wow, we missed a frozen iron // metal shackle in the list of our favorite photos. Love the gradient in the background: the colors really sparkle in contrast to the hurting frozen chain covered with ice crystals.
