Pinning this from another's blog. I did not come up with this myself! A book walk! I love this activity for so many reasons. 1) It is great for those who learn best through movement and touch. 2) It gets kids outside. 3) It uses realia to teach vocabulary. Fun fun fun! I must do this with my ESOL class at least once this year!

Book Walk

CCPRN recently incorporated a 'Book Walk' into our pre-summer picnics. So what exactly is a book walk? A book walk is a way to encourage children to be involved in a story.

I have been looking for something like this! Wish I had this at the beginning of the year. Might be fun for summer though :)

Thank you to Diane for submitting this fun book report poster. It’s legal size (paper) worksheet and is great for lower grades (or as an easy project for upper grades). Great end of the year …
