Every satellite photo of a hurricane looks a lot like the last one. The images above, taken with NASA Goddard Spaceflight Center’s MODIS instrument aboard the Terra and Aqua satellites, are a case in point.    The striking similarity has to do with how hurricanes form, said meteorologist John Knaff of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
