This week Eric Byrnes shared his thoughts on the similarities and differences between baseball and running. You could say Byrnes has a little insight into the two sports—after retiring from Major League Baseball in 2010, he began competing in Ironman triathlons and developed an unexpected passion for distance running. Now, to power through longer runs and bike rides, Byrnes says he uses the power of a playlist to break up the monotony.
