When Victoria agreed to be her godmother she gave baby Victoria Davies a cup, salver, knife, fork & spoon, all made of gold. The cup was inscribed “To Victoria Davies from her godmother Queen Victoria of Great Britain & Ireland 1863”. Victoria was very proud of her.
