Literacy Centers for 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade (November)
I use these Whole Brain Teaching attention getters on a daily basis with my ELL students. These attention getters are a great way to improve your classroom management. I usually pick one or two to teach the class at the beginning of the year.
Punch Cards for Positive Behavior - Each student gets a punch card, and when the teacher sees students with exemplerary behavior, they get a punch. When the punchcard is full, the student gets a reward.
I did this with my students with our poetry unit. They had to come up with one word that described themselves. They wrote the word and decorated it on these strips of bright paper. They LOVED it and it made a great bulletin board!!
Free Kindergarten Emergency Sub Plans focusing on the nursery rhyme Jack and Jill. Directions and activities including an emergent reader, labeling activity and sequencing. Works great for a half day sub!
