Matthew 6:26, 32-33 When my son was home for college he was invited to share his witness during the Sunday sermon. He referenced these verses as he shared his faith. Sadly, my camera toppled over (hubby accidentally kicked it) so all but two minutes of the recording are in warp speed. I may not have a watchable video, but I have a great memory.

I look forward to the day when this is said to me and they truly, actually mean it, with their heart and soul. I will feel it and know it to be true, I will know this is not just something they trot out, for whatever reason. I will know, and they will know that we are meant to and want to be together.

God takes care of birds in the sky. Every day He provides them with shelter and food they need to survive. How much more does He care for you, the one made in His own image? The one He sent His own son to die for?

“Look at the birds: they do not plant seeds, gather a harvest and put it in barns; yet your Father in heaven takes care of them! Aren't you worth much more…”

Look at the birds in the sky. They do not store food for winter. They don’t plant gardens. They do not sow or reap—and yet, they are always fed because your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are even more precious to Him than a beautiful bird. If He looks after them, of course He will look after you.
