Matthew 6:25-27 That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? As I was reading my bible this morning I also read a posting from biblegateway.com that reminded me that each morning I must renew my trust in the Lord. God gave manna in the morning and quail in the evening. They were to gather just enough for the day. Just as the birds are cared for day to day by the Lord, so too are we. Each day I renew my trust in the Lord to sustain me today. That His Spirit will guide and strengthen me, giving me wisdom, understanding, patience and gentleness…

God takes care of birds in the sky. Every day He provides them with shelter and food they need to survive. How much more does He care for you, the one made in His own image? The one He sent His own son to die for?
