A military funeral. One of the most dignified, serious, and honorable experiences I have ever had when I attended my father's burial at Arlington National Cemetery. The American Military never forgets and always honors one of their own. A true band of brothers and sisters unlike any other.

"Black Jack" was a Riderless Horse who walked in over a thousand military funeral processions between 1952 and 1976, including those of Presidents John F. Kennedy, Herbert Hoover, Lyndon B. Johnson, and General Douglas MacArthur. Black Jack died after 24 years of service at age 29, and is one of two horses in United States history to be buried with Full Military Honors.
