The Black Hills, South Dakota The picture here shows a small tunnel, on needles highway, that looks like you won't fit, but there is plenty of room. We stayed at the State Game Lodge in Custer State Park. The buffalo are amazing & they are free roaming.
South Dakota - Needles Highway is a National Scenic Byway which was completed in 1922 and includes 14 miles of sharp turns, low tunnels and impressive granite spires. The road lies within the acre Custer State Park, just 30 miles south of Rapid City.
