Chicago’s Restaurant ‘Next’ has been called the National Restaurant of the Year

Lucky to get a ticket for their thailand menu. Next restaurant, Chicago Owners: Nick Kokonas and Grant Achatz Chef: Grant Achatz It will become an entirely different restaurant every three months and diners must buy tickets to get a table.

Grant Achatz is the executive chef and co-owner of Alinea in Chicago. In 2011 San Pellegrino’s 50 Best named Alinea best restaurant in North America for the second year in a row and sixth in the world. Also in 2011 Grant was named one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world.
