I disagree with this as a nursery practitioner but only because children learn from copying us, thats how they learn to talk so, we are teaching them purely just by being around them. If a child didn't have an adult to talk back to them when they make noises they would stop making noises and never learn to speak.
LEYF nursery practitioner Ricky engages children with face-painting | Male role models play such an important part in a child's life, so we are especially proud to have such great male staff in our LEYF nurseries. In their honour and to celebrate Father's Day in the UK this weekend, we've chosen this lovely shot of Deputy Manager Ricky as this week's Friday Photo. He really knows how to engage children in any activity - in this case, the simple and ever popular activity of face-painting!
