The King and I: Easy Piano Rodgers, Richard (Composer)/ Hammerstein, Oscar, II (

A dozen songs arranged for easy piano from the classic Rodgers & Hammerstein about a British governess in the Siamese Court.

Richard Rodgers (1902–1979) and Oscar Hammerstein II (1895–1960) were an influential, innovative and successful American musical theatre writing team, usually referred to as Rodgers and Hammerstein. They created a string of popular Broadway musicals in the 1940s and 1950s, initiating what is considered the "golden age" of musical theatre.

Let Us Now Talk Very Seriously About Oklahoma!

Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II joined forces in 1943 to create the most successful partnership in American musical theatre. Not only was "Oklahoma!" the first Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, it was also the first of a new genre - the musical play. And it was all made possible by Claremore's own Lynn Riggs, who wrote "Green Grow the Lilacs," which Rodgers and Hammerstein adapted to become the beloved musical. #trivia
