I know, I know. I said that I try to eat local when I'm on the road. But when I'm in Cincinnati or Dallas and the opportunity comes my way, there is no way I will pass up a trip to Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. Featuring a French Quarter flair,  this chain of restaurants offers some of the best seafood you will ever have. Don't pass up the gator, tastes just like chicken ;-) only way, way better.

Pappadeaux's Sweet Potato Pecan Pie With Bourbon Sauce. This is by far the best pie I have ever had. Your loved ones will demand this every holiday. I have had this requested for birthdays, anniversaries and wedding gifts. A slight fuss to make but well worth it. Double the recipe and make two pies. Might as well have 2 for the work, right?
