Charles "Pete" Conrad, astronaut and third man to walk on the moon had dyslexia.  From the beginning, he was clearly a bright, intelligent boy, but he continually struggled with his schoolwork. Pete's dyslexia continued to frustrate his academic efforts. After he failed most of his 11th grade exams, he was  expelled him from school. But his mother never gave up--and found the right school that could help him.
