Every year, the University of Massachusetts hosts the nation’s largest campus food service event, giving students and faculty the chance to sample the many food options on their campus. From talking with staff, this was the biggest Taste of UMASS they have ever had. The Pita Pit crew prepped, rolled, and served 1,500 Chicken Caesar pitas. The day of the event, they began making pitas at 9:30 am, and finished around 2:30 pm.
