Cinnamon, honey and walnuts wrapped in flaky sour cream pastry. Very similar to my own family recipe for what we call "tart" (which we know isn't really a tart!) I always suspected it came from somewhere in our European roots.
The Russian Santa Claus - Known as Ded Moroz. “Ded Moroz” translates to “Grandfather Frost” in English, but most English speakers simply call him “Father Frost.” He is a figure associated with Russian Christmas traditions and New Year's traditions.
Culture - Russia-Ded Moroz and Snegurochka (Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden): Similar to Santa Claus, Ded Moroz brings presents to children at New Year celebrations. He is accompanied by the Snow Maiden, his granddaughter.
