Spinach Dal (Palak Dal) - Made my own version of this tonight. Add 3 onions, 3 cloves garlic and 3 large vine tomatoes to the onion mixture. Fry in a tablespoon of olive oil and leave out the coconut milk for a low-fat version.
Tofu instead of cheese? Sunday Slow Cooker: Saag Paneer, 5 P+ and under 200 calories - healthy Indian food: add about half again as much coconut milk and some additional garam masala and cumin. Easy to make entirely vegetarian with tofu instead of paneer.
