The reason why I am doing this is because I have seen how the world has changed over the last few years and children do not go out and play like they used to instead they sit infront of a computer screen inside all the time, so my aim is to try and get people out and experiencing things but most of all to have a peace of mind, keeping safe and enjoying yourselves.

In The Guardian, Alexis Petridis penned a fantastic reflection on the UK’s scary public information films of the 1960s to 1980s. For more than 60 years, the government’s Central Office of Information (COI) created FUD-fostering films about talking to strangers, playing with matches, sticking things in electric outlets, rabies, slippery floors, etc. The COI was shut down last week due to funding cuts.

No mess Paint colour exploration! We simply squirted poster paint into Ikea freezer bags, sealed them up and stuck them down in the Tuff spot tray! You could stick them to any flat surface, such as patio doors or cupboards. We talked about mixing colours and the children were using fingers to mark-make and there was so much lovely descriptive language! An excellent no mess, sensory activity for EYFS children!

Five little firefighters sleeping in a row.  Ring goes the bell, down the pole they go.  They jump on the engine and put out the fire.  Now they're back home, but they sure are tired.
