Since I first saw Sarita Choudhury in Mississippi Masala (in the theatre when it came out), I've been appreciative of her capacity to be fully present and alive on screen. I love her work in Wild West and Kama Sutra. And it was a pleasure to see her in The Lady in the Water, a film I return to again and again for the power of the performances from the ensemble. I realized recently that I have some catching up to do to see all her work.
