Sauteed Okra. This is how Grandma Pat makes it, minus the flour and all that bowl prep work. Just throw the cut okra in the pan with the olive oil (can use butter or coconut oil too) and sprinkle cornmeal on top (enough to coat the okra) with some salt and pepper. Best okra ever.

I am very lucky to have some wonderful cooks in my family, and my Aunt Nita is definitely one of them. Aunt Nita and me at my rehearsal d.

Sauteed Okra and Onion | Playful Cooking

Sauteed Okra with Onions: It's a very simple dish with less than 5 ingredients and it goes best with Roti(Indan flat bread), but I have tried it as an appetizer too. I hate Okra but this dish was awsm:)

Okra via no meat athlete

I LOVE Okra. Just slice it into little chunks, toss with some corn meal and salt and pepper (it sticks because the okra releases a tacky liquid when it's sliced), and saute in some nice hot olive oil for four or five minutes.
