I think something similar would be a nice welcoming display to create before term starts. It will be nice for the children to see themselves on the wall on their first day.

For the Love of Teaching: Monday Made It {Beach Ball Activity & Math About Me}. We have used inflatable ball for Geography. Seen some fill in the blank, what about blue or clear then they could write on it?

Could write childrens goals on the chalk board and take photo and start of the year then display in classroom and review throughout the year

Love this idea for First Day of school Picture. great for at home or a class. Also love the idea of taking a chalk board, dry erase board on vacation and having a child write where they are or what they like. Sort of like capturing a caption.

This ones for older students and can push students to use several different kinds of prompts in their writing. I love that it is visually stimulating and therefore students are more likely to refer to it when writing in class. It shows that there are many ways to evaluate a text and starting with each prompt can change the tone and content of your paragraph/essay. This can be used anytime my students are asked to analyze/evaluate a text, story, video, etc.
