When you spend time in prayer and in scripture, Holy Spirit reveals things about yourself to you. Respond with obedience and you will gain freedom of such things. For me it was social media. I praise God for giving me the courage to delete it, accounts and apps. I feel free. I was spending more time and energy on social media rather than with the Lord, etc.

There's humility in obedience sometimes. We put away the easier choice for His instruction and calling.
