WHAT IS A SEA BEAN?  Sea-beans (or "drift seeds") are tropical seeds and fruits carried to the ocean by freshwater streams and rivers that drift with the currents and eventually wash ashore. Sea Beans are Tropical seeds that have washed up on the shore and found in the wrack/rack. The Costa Maya Caribbean beaches have plenty of sea beans to collect that are hard to find in Florida.
