I used to carry my newborn grandson outside to see the night sky. He loved looking at the stars.

Irish author, Oscar Wilde, graced us with the quote "We are all of us in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars", meaning life is all about perception. One can still appreciate the beauty in life even when in an unideal situation.

I love the thought that we all look at the same sky. Hosting takes a small world and makes it feel smaller, building life-long connections across oceans.
