Skyline strapped on the pads for the first time Thursday in their fourth full day of fall high school football practice.

Brian David Johnson is a retired Major League Baseball catcher and former quarterback for Stanford University. Johnson attended Skyline High School from 1983 to 1986, where he was a three-sport varsity letterman. As a catcher and pitcher for the Titans, Johnson tied one national record and broke six state records while being selected as an All-American.
