Somewhere :: Sofia Coppola, 2010

Somewhere (2010)

Directed by Sofia Coppola. With Stephen Dorff, Elle Fanning, Chris Pontius, Erin Wasson. After withdrawing to the Chateau Marmont, a passionless Hollywood actor reexamines his life when his eleven-year-old daughter surprises him with a visit.

Sophia Coppola's 'Somewhere'. Wealth and boredom can been a mind numbing combination. Beautifully shot (of course). I think the opening scene is absolutely brilliant. cbr

This movie presents a life of a hollywood actor, not as a superstar but more of an average person as the character assesses his life after the visit of his daughter. Although this movie is not for everyone, i do recommend trying to watch it.

The Virgin Suicides (1999)

The Virgin Suicides, Sofia Coppola, 1999 - Loved the book and the movie.

THE BEGUILED already had my money before I saw this incredible new poster, but still. I'm all in for anything with some combination of Sofia Coppola, Elle Fanning, Kirsten Dunst, Nicole Kidman, and Colin Farrel.
