The space shuttle Endeavour, perched atop a specially-modified NASA 747 jet, approaches Los Angeles International Airport last week. The retired spacecraft will be towed to its new home at the California Science Center.

NASA hosted one final media tour at Cape Canaveral Friday April allowing reporters a final look at the Endeavour's cockpit before all systems are shut down, and it is turned over to California Science Center in Los Angeles. Read more: www.
