Japanese garden style is just perfect for small gardens. The tiniest space can fit a small Japanese garden. Japanese houses make the most of every bit of garden space, and often have small gardens squeezed a long a narrow pathway, or between two.

In my minds eye I always see white and green gardens with black houses.Takes the edge off in such a gorgeous way.

Such a pretty picture. I love how the weathered timber bench is softened by great mounds of white Hydrangeas, buxus spheres and Catalpa (Indian bean trees) vanraaijen.
