Some different ways to say several of the most over-used words in the English language. Use them!

Other ways to say.happy, scared, pretty, angry, shocked and other words. Useful for new foreign language vocab too?

Every English teacher's favorite list... BUT I read somewhere that using too many other words instead of "said" is a clear sign that you're a beginning writer.  Most of the time, "said" is just fine.  It's nice to have options, though.  :)

It's always good to have more descriptive words for "said" in narrative writing; However, this list is helpful.
