Cause and effect chains! So. Much. Fun. I gave each pair of students one event to begin with (the green loop). They had to turn it into a cause and effect chain. I gave them a certain amount of time and made it into a little competition. It was a blast!

Chains can help them learn cause and effect, do countdowns to important dates, and even teach important life lessons. I will certainly utilize this activity in my classroom to get students involved.

Organizing the Elementary Classroom!

Grade Students will use Skittles to complete a place value worksheet. Students will fill in the place value on the sheet. I will use this in my classroom as an enrichment tool.
