A vintage (1950s) Murray "Tee Bird" steel pedal car. Neighbor children had a car like this I remember riding. The all-original one shown here is worn, but that makes sense: pedal cars were sturdy and well-loved, so they got passed down and played with by many children. Once you were too big to drive, smaller children welcomed their turn.
