Shine, by Misfit Wearables, is a wearable device that is used to track a wide range of activity. It is roughly the size of 2 or 3 stacked quarters, and uses a proprietary technique of data transfer that doesn’t require cables, charging stations, WiFi, or Bluetooth. The device displays via a series of lighted dots to indicate the completion level.
Gema might appear to be a precious piece of baby jewelry, but this wearable device does so much more than just look good! It provides parents with real-time statistics and vitals related to their baby’s health. Worn on the baby’s wrist, it detects and monitors their heart rate, oxygen levels, temperature and sleep cycles. Data is transmitted wirelessly to parents via a comprehensive smartphone app.
