No Arthurian legend would be complete without Excalibur.  It is sometimes attributed with magical powers or associated with the rightful sovereignty of Great Britain. Sometimes Excalibur and the Sword in the Stone (the proof of Arthur's lineage) are said to be the same weapon, but in most versions they are considered separate. Queen Elizabeth had this stunning tiara designed in 1973. The design is in the form of a wreath of roses, with clusters of rubies in the center of each flower, and petals made of brilliant diamonds. The 96 rubies set into the tiara were a present from the Burmese people, and represent the number of diseases that they believe can afflict the human body.

So my nana really is the queen mum. Looks so much like both my nana and my mom! The Queen wearing the BURMESE RUBY TIARA together with the magnificent ruby necklace, known as the State Rubies, left to the Crown by Queen Victoria.
