Německý Brod (Deutschbrod) Masaryk District Hospital. This 80-bed pavilion for non-pulmonary tuberculosis opened in 1933 at a cost of Kc 4,200.000. A donation of Kc 1,000.000 was made by the Central Social Insurance Company. The hospital, originally established in the late 1880s had considerably grown by the end of the 1930s (new operation theatre 1928, isolation pavilion 1930, tbc pavilion 1933, central kitchen 1937, planned internal diseases pavilion 1938) into a 420-bed institution.
