Located just north of the weir is a CPR bridge built in 1908. It's a rather unusual rail bridge in that it has a pedestrian walkway connected to the University of Saskatchewan grounds on the east bank. On the west side is the Prince of Wales Promenade, the Realty Executives Boardwalk and platform by the weir where you can watch pelicans fish and frolick many a summer's day away.
