My friend who speaks Portuguese translated to me that the girls in the photograph said if we took photographs of them they would be famous back in the UK.
In Rio de Janeiro two Dutch artists (Dre Urhahn e Jeroen Koolhaas) with the project Favela Painting thought to transform completely the favela of Santa Marta, which today is, with its 34 painted and colourful buildings, a living art work.
