Brahma is known as the creator god. From his mind, he created Manu, the first man. He is known as Prajapati, the progenitor of all species on earth. He is also said to have come into existence to dispel the darkness of the universe. He created the ocean and planted a seed that formed into a golden egg. From that golden egg, he was born in physical form and from his mind created the world and all life within it.

PARVATI SHAKTI: Shiva's feminine aspect - Shakti is the electrical energy in our body, which gives us life. Her power is stored at the base of the spine. When we awake spiritually, her force moves up the spine opening the heart with love, the throat with joy and creativity, the forehead with wisdom, the crown with pure light. These are the Chakras, or Yogic centers of meditation in the subtle body. Shiva carries a trident, representing Sat, Chit, Ananda: Truth, Awareness, and Bliss.
And he who at the time of death Meditating on Me alone, Goes forth, and leaving the body, Doubtless attains to My Being. Whatever he remembers when Departing from the body, that Alone is reached by him because Of his constant thinking of that. Therefore, at all times, constantly Remember Me, and then do fight: With mind and intellect absorbed In Me, you thus shall come to Me. —Krishna from the Bhagavad Gita
