Idea of planting around the bases of the Amelanchier.  Mix of grass, domes and multi-stems.

Idea for domed buxus (or similar) on stems - to look as though it's floating above the Yew hedge when viewed from the other side of the garden.

Amelanchier lamarckii (multi-stemmed). In pairs at each entrance to this section of the garden.  Some deciduous interest within the evergreen structure.  Also wafting form to create an arch to frame the view of the sculptures on the wall.

Galium odorata; deer resistant shade ground cover.

Sweet Woodruff aka Galium odorata - fragrant flowers in May and a good ground cover for shade where only moss will grow. Can be very aggressive but not when in dry shade
