On November 28, 1989, the Red Dwarf episode Polymorph aired. The episode saw the crew fending for their lives as a mutating creature hunted them to feed on their emotions. At one moment, this creature (the Polymorph) mutated into a woman, called Genny. This woman was played by Frances Barber, who is more recently known as Madame Kovarian (AKA the Eye Patched Lady) in Doctor Who.
