Lloyds Bank - The Taxing Task (1994) - Farm Set
I designed this set, shot at Twickenham Studios. We had a large painted backdrop and built a hill behind a Farm House and Barn with a yard and pig pen and pond. We created the foreground with a Glass Shot of the trees and a small model hill in earth with rutted cart tracks and small stones and plants for shrubs and rocks. When we filled the Farm Set with the Talking Pig, twenty porkers, White Ducks, sheepdog, goat, Terry the turkey, 12 x doves and a cat, the studio smelled incredible.
I designed this set to have a stone flag floor and a working Fire. We had exposed wood beams and a working sink. I had a scenic write the 20' scroll. We had the famous Stongbow archer fire his arrows into the table. The Fall, House Interior

Lloyds Bank - The Taxing Task (1994) Farm House Interior Set
We built the Barn interior and exterior and had actual groats handed to the farmer on entrance. With a little smoke and backlight through the gaps in the barn walls and roof, it had a very atmospheric feel, hightened by the candlelight. With so much wood on set, including all the bark mulch in the farmyard, I was quite worried at that time, about all the smokers on set, burning up the whole studio.

This was part of the Tower Castle set we were planning on building as the third Commercial for Lloyds Bank, but only made The Taxing Task with the Talking Pig
This was for a Set to be built on a stage, but the script never got confirmed.
