Cheddar Cheese Risotto: This might seem odd to Italians but it works beautifully: the starchy rice, the sharp Cheddar, both are the perfect counterpoint for each other. I make this on days when I need to escape to the kitchen and have a good, quiet, relaxing and mindless 20 minutes staring into the middle distance and stirring. I heartily recommend it.
Oven-baked leek & bacon risotto - Made this for tea tonight. Normally I can't be bothered to hover over a risotto even though I love them but baking it is awesomely easy and this particular one is delicious!
Cornflake tart another school classic Sweet pastry case 4oz butter 1/2 cup of golden syrup 1-1/2 to 2 cups of cornflakes Melt the butter add the syrup till all melted then cover the cornflakes Spread some jam of your choice on the pastry case then scoop scoop scoop lol until pie all filled Then wahlaa cornflake tart ....to be tried with chocolate custard
