“In 1949, LIFE photographer Gjon Mili visited Picasso in Vallauris, France. He showed Pablo some photographs of ice skaters with tiny lights affixed to their skates jumping in the dark. Picasso was immediately inspired, these photos were the result.”

Cool light painting idea!

This photograph is very effective in the use of light painting. It uses light trailing with a some sort of light source e. torch or glow stick.

I have highlighted this image because I like how the image is simple yet effective at demonstrating how light can be used in photography. This image was created with a high exposure setting which would more light in the image such as the trail, The trail would've been created by a person walking along with a torch held above the ground.
